There are few people who will not have heard of Padstow, the pretty little fishing village on the North Cornwall coast, made famous by television chef and celebrity Rick Stein.
Unfortunately, when somewhere becomes this famous, the ensuing popularity means that accommodation prices rocket upwards and bargains become few and far between. The Farmers Arms is one such bargain, just minutes away from Padstow and situated in St Merryn, one of the closest villages to the Seven Bays of the North Cornwall coast.
Furthermore it is one of the few remaining traditional Cornish inns and serves real Cornish beer, rather than the kind you will find in any large town anywhere in the country.
We don’t believe that bed and breakfast Padstow style is worth the extra you will pay, after all Padstow doesn’t even have a beach. We have seven, one for every day of the week, we also have a great value carvery, comfortable rooms and much more.
